Mixing and Applying Earthen Plaster

Learn the basics of earthen plastering- material selection, preparation and application as well as specific design considerations for stawbale construction. In this hands-on workshop, we will apply a base coat to strawbale walls.

Earthern plasters offer an elegant, environmental, allergen free, low
cost, do-it-yourself solution for interior and exterior wall finishes.
Due to it's exceptional breathibility, earthern plasters are especially
suited to strawbale construction and other natural building forms.

Learn

This workshop will be hands-on and participants will
experience the process of applying a 'scratch' or base coat to straw
bale walls.
