Bicycle Garden Tour with Beth Kelz

Bike through the Takilma countryside and visit some of the longest established and most productive gardens in town. Learn about the many styles used in growing food and get tips from local, long-term gardeners. Enjoy garden treats and a dip in the beautiful Illinois River as we practice carbon neutrality.

Beth Kelz has lived at the Meadows in Takilma for 37 years where they grow all of their vegetables and most of their fruit.

6-9pm or so: January 14, 28, February 11, 25, March 11, 25, April 8, 22, May 6, 20, June 3, 17

Bring food, instruments, songbooks, and songs to share including sea shanties, folk songs, political commentaries, etc.
